show and tell: card club

it's time again for mel's show and tell. be sure to go see what the other kids are showing off this week.

i love to rubber stamp and make cards. i'm totally addicted to stampin.up products! a friend of mine, L, is a consultant and has been doing daytime card club classes for a while. last year she finally decided to do one at night. yay! i couldn't come to the daytime class because i work.

every third monday i get so excited because i get to go to L's house and make ten beautiful cards. we do two of each design. L cuts all the paper and comes up with every design. all we have to do is show up with scissors and tape. we get to have a girls night and leave with some adorable cards!

i decided that should be my show.and.tell this week. so here's a photo of the cards we made this past monday.

i love all of them! it's going to be hard to give them away. hee hee.

What if you and someone else from the card class sent the same card to each other? Then you'd get to send it and keep it, all at once!

Happy ICLW (and Show and Tell)!

I'm a papercrafter but the whole stamping thing intimidates me! I really need to just give it a try - always looks like so much fun.

They're beautiful! I only make cards at Christmas and they exhaust me. I need to start looking for Christmas embellishments now though...

And ha, ha, my confirmation word is "dylate" - how appropriate.

They are so beautiful! Good work! I want to go to a class with you, that sounds like so much fun. Although, my horrible cards wold put yours to shame. Much like parking an old beater next to a brand new shiny Lamborghini ;o)

I love handmade cards. I make some too but those are so clever. Thanks for sharing.

I love those! They are so trendy. I harbor equal loves for stamping and scrapping. I've tried combining but get overwhelmed.

*sigh* I guess the get-togethers would be good cause I'd have a model to follow.

I'm here from Blogger Bingo and I'm just starting to read a bit of your blog - then I saw these cards. Lovely!! I love paper crafts. I started out as a scrapper, but then a friend introduced me to card making and frankly I've stayed away because it's too much fun and I already spend enough on the scrapping stuff! I'm thinking of switching over to digital scrapping and then maybe I can use all my supplies for card-making....So tempting! Esp. when I see beautiful and inspirational stuff like these cards!
