We had our regular acupuncture appointment on Saturday morning at 9 am which was perfect timing. My acupuncturist was so excited that my procedure was later that day. I told her what time we needed to leave so she could be sure we got out on time. I also wasn't sure I would be relaxed enough to sleep, but I did. And I left there feeling GREAT!
We headed out for a quick lunch and then got to the RE's office at noon. They got us checked in and then we signed all the paperwork. Once the paperwork was done we waited. And waited. And waited.
Once they called us back I had a couple of questions. The main one was the sperm count. Last IUI it was 14 million, which is good. This time the sperm count was 25 million, which is "excellent" (the word the nurse used) especially for a frozen specimen. I was so excited when she told us that number!
Then she did the IUI and we waited, got dressed, and headed home to rest on the couch. I felt so much better than the last IUI. I wasn't crampy as much and just felt better in general.
They want me to do an extra ovidrel trigger shot on Friday. The reason is they are thinking positively that implantation is happening and they want to boost my progesterone levels for that. I will definitely be hoping implantation is happening then too.
I can't officially test until March 9. That seems like an eternity away for now. And that means our 2ww is a 3ww instead. I've already decided not to test out the trigger shot and just wait. I drove myself crazy peeing on sticks all the time last cycle and I'm not doing that
So we officially waiting. While we are waiting, I thought I'd have a give away!
My amazing friend Alison has an etsy store and she's expanding it to include printables. She came up with this great design specifically for this give away. The size is 5" x 7" and can easily be printed off and framed.
Don't you just love it? I do. In fact I've already bought one for myself to hang up at home or to put on my desk at work.
When we were talking about this Alison decided she would sell these on her etsy shop AND donate $5 from each sale to our favorite organization, Chance to Hope.
Here's how you can win one for yourself!
Here's how to enter to win:
1) Hop over to her etsy shop and tell me which one of her designs is your favorite.
2) Tweet (if you're a tweeter) "I entered @notamyrtle's Hope Whispers giveaway " (or something similar).
a Rafflecopter giveaway
PS - Thanks for all the love during this cycle. You guys are just the best!
